Why should you get involved?                              - National PTA website -

 According to decades of research, when parents or guardians are involved in their child’s

 education, students have:

  • Higher grades, test scores, and graduation rates
  • Better school attendance
  • Increased motivation, better self-esteem
  • Lower rates of suspension
  • Decreased use of drugs and alcohol
  • Fewer instances in violent behavior
  • Greater enrollment rates in post-secondary education

 

 The Maple Shade High School PTSA is a very active and vital part of our school.  They support

 the students and families as well as our faculty and staff for all grades.

 The HS PTSA is once again running the ‘SCRIP’ program.

There is a two week turn-around time for all orders.  Please contact Bonnie Horvath with any questions.

~ MSHS PTSA GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER ~

The Maple Shade PTSA has registered with shop with scrip, a company that sells gift cards to non-profit organizations as a fundraiser.  You pay the face value of the gift card. There are NO extra charges, NO service fees, NO activation fees and No shipping/handling fees!    The PTSA will receive a percentage of all gift cards that are sold.   It has never been easier to do holiday shopping!

 

To Get Started:

Log on to: www.shopwithscrip.com

  Click "Register" (for those registering for the first time)

  Click "Join a Scrip Program"

   Enter Enrollment Code:  113528C9184LL

   Click "Register"

   Fill out registration information

   Click "Register"

   Verify that it states "Maple Shade HS PTSA, Maple Shade, NJ"

You are registered and ready to shop:

  Click "Shop"

  Shop by choosing from a list of participating categories and stores

  Select a gift card, money amount and quantity, then add to cart

  When done shopping click "Cart" and checkout

  Select "check" for method of payment

  Confirm order and print a copy of your receipt

  Send your check or money order and a copy of your receipt to the High School’s main office in an

  envelope marked "PTSA Scrip Order – Attn: Bonnie Horvath"    (check or money order payable to MSHS PTSA)

Bonnie Horvath, Scrip Coordinator, will pick up orders and confirm them with Scrip. Once the order is confirmed, it will be processed, and you will receive a call or email confirming that your order was received and placed. Mrs. Horvath will call or send an email letting you know when the gift cards will be available for pick up. If you want your student to pick up your gift cards, please write a note so we can release the cards to your child. 

THERE IS A TWO WEEK TURN-AROUND TIME FOR ORDERS. PLEASE BE SURE TO PLACE YOUR ORDER SOON SO IT ARRIVES IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS.
