January 2019 Deadlines

 

  • MSSC Scholarships:  (2)

David Natale Scholarship: Must have played soccer with MSSC and be continuing education.  

 

Lee Sharples Scholarship: Must have played soccer with MSSC and be continuing education.

February 2019 Deadlines

 

  • Valerie E. Yahn Scholarship:  Nursing scholarship - visit www.NJSNA.org, click on Scholarship and select the Valerie E. Yahn application & instructions
  • NJ School Building and Grounds Association:  (10) $1,000 scholarships.  Open to all seniors continuing their education.  Deadline: February 9, 2019

 

March 2019 Deadlines

 

  • FIDM National Scholarship:  Visit bit.ly/FIDMscholarship for entry details and most up to date information.


  • Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation:  $1,000 scholarship based on financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.  Deadline: March 9, 2019.

April 2019 Deadlines

  • Robert M. Oberholser Scholarship:  $3,500 scholarship offered to student attending a 4-yr college.  Scholarship requires student to enter the field of education at a New Jersey college or university.  Application in Guidance Office. Deadline:  Postmarked by April 1, 2019.

 

  • Harriet DeLionardo Scholarship:  $2,000 scholarship offered to student attending a 2-yr college.  Scholarship requires student to enter the field of education at a New Jersey college or university.  Application is in Guidance Office. Deadline:  Postmarked by April 1, 2019.

  • Fred E. Aug Scholarship:  $1,000 renewable scholarship offered to a student attending a 2 year New Jersey college.  GPA must be 2.75 or higher. Application is in Guidance Office. Deadline:  Postmarked by April 1, 2019.
  • Allen/Hickman Scholarships:  $1,500 for each scholarship for one year (renewable). Must be top 5% of class and accepted into a 4 year college/university.  Deadline:  Postmarked by April 1, 2019.

 

  • NJUA Excellence in Diversity Scholarship: (2) $1,500 per year to a New Jersey 4 year school.  Information available at www.njua.com .  Deadline:  Postmarked by April 6, 2019.


  • NJUA Trade & Vocational School Scholarship: (2) $1,500 per year to a student pursuing a trade or vocational degree at an accredited New Jersey School.  Information available at www.njua.com.   Deadline:  Postmarked by April 6, 2019.


  • Alfred V. Colabella III Memorial Scholarship:  (2) Scholarships $2,500 and $1,500 to senior in Burlington County.  Essay topics related to Vietnam required. Specific topics are on the application in Guidance.  Deadline:  Postmarked by April 30, 2019.
  • May 2019 Deadlines


    • Marine Trades Scholarship:  $9,562.50 (half scholarship) available.  
    • Application available online at www.mtanj.org/scholarships.  Careers surround the boating industry.  Deadline:  May 1, 2019.
    • Penn State Alumni Association of Southern New Jersey Chapter:  Five scholarships in various amounts.  Application, transcript with SAT scores and letter of recommendation necessary.  Application available in Guidance Office. Deadline:  May 3, 2019.


    • JDRF:  $1,000.00 scholarship available a graduate who is Type 1 Diabetic, maintains GPA of 3.25 or better and participates in sports or extracurricular activities.  Application available in the Guidance office. Recipient must attend awards dinner on Monday, June 10th.  Deadline:  May 10, 2019
    • Disabled American Veterans Dept. of NJ:  3 $1,500 for post High School Education.  Essay of no more than 500 words on “What Would You Do to End Homelessness in Our Country”  Additional information available in the Scholarship drawer. Deadline:  May 17, 2019.

    • June 2019 Deadlines

    • Horatio Alger Assoc. Of Distinguished Americans:  1020 scholarships up to $2,500 for students enrolled in Fall 2019 technical or career  program. Additional information available in the Scholarship drawer. Deadline:  June 15, 2019.
